Team FTC Track Meet/ Social 

We are excited to announce our Team Track Meet & Social at Kiwanis Park on Thursday, August 22nd at 6:30 PM! With FREE Pizza to follow!  

There will be no Thursday morning practice on 8/22/19 as we will have this event later that evening.

The race distances will be a 1 mile and 2 mile run. We are not in peak race season so they will serve as a fun time trial in the heat followed by the social. This event is OPEN to kids and family members! This is a shaded track with a playground for kids. The surface is more like a road so bring the correct shoes. We will not provide timing so please bring your watch to self time!

Schedule:

6:00 PM: Warm up 

6:30 PM: Kids 400 meter/fun run

6:40 PM: 1 mile heat 1: All runners below 7:00 min for Finish Time Goal.

6:50 PM: 1 mile Heat 2: All runners above 7:00 min for Finish Time Goal. All paces are welcome in this race and there will be no cutoff time! 

7:05 PM: Piggyback 100 meter novelty race 

7:10 PM: 2 mile: All paces are welcome but slower runners will be asked to run in lane 2 unless shooting for a hard/ fast run. 

7:30 PM: PIZZA!
